About Book One
Book One follows newcomers through the first stage of the journey: credit and debt, barriers to employment, family expectations, and the quiet pressure to appear successful. It is written for immigrants, students and families, and for anyone who wants to understand what newcomers face.
About the author
Alex Ahabwe is a Ugandan-Canadian entrepreneur, former international banker, financial literacy educator, author and community leader based in Toronto. He is a Certified Financial Literacy Trainer accredited by the Bank of Uganda, with banking experience in Uganda and Canada, including Opportunity Bank Uganda, TD Canada Trust and Royal Bank of Canada. He is the founder of Money Wing.
